Our client, an automotive company is looking for potential candidates to be placed as Brand Manager with details as follows:

 

JOB SUMMARY

    • Position: Brand Manager
    • Division: Marketing & Sales
    • Location: Indonesia
    • Industry: Automotive

 

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for adapting a brand strategy for a company’s target market, maintaining brand integrity across all Company’s marketing initiatives and communications, and may manage a portfolio of products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision, and value
      proposition for short and long term plan
    • Formulate, deploy, and monitor the marketing strategy of the company for advertising and promotion of defined brands maintaining compliance with applicable regulations & company policy
    • Create & deploy channel-specific visibility & promotional programs, define merchandising norms, etc., to enhance the brand experience of customers across all touchpoints the brand makes with the customer
    • Assist the marketing/sales teams in conceptualization and designing of required communication protocols, creative content/ promotional material for all branding/ advertising initiatives for the market.
    • Continuously monitor the market and competitive landscape to evaluate the existing and upcoming
      opportunities/challenges, help the marketing team to devise countermeasures to competitor moves,
      alter strategy to help company brands gain and strengthen market position.
    • Contribute to New Product Development (NPD) strategies for future growth of the brands. Especially with reference to developing commercially valid feasibility study outcome
    • New product development cross-functional team member or leader
    • Market opportunity identification & capitalization – in consultation with the sales and marketing team
    • Assist the head of marketing in establishing a robust data analytical aimed at monitoring and tracking the sales performance of the company’s brand through primary and secondary market data analysis
    • Support deployment of products, identifying agencies and maintaining pricing per established brand guidelines
    • Maintain & grow online/social/e-comm presence & SOV per brand requirement.
    • Liaison with PR/media agencies, art designers, copywriters, etc., to formulate promotional/ campaign strategy and material
    • Key lead for full portfolio promotional plans

 

REQUIREMENTS:
    • Min. bachelor degree in business administration or marketing, or other relevant major
    • Fluent in English
    • Experienced as a Brand Manager or Assistant Brand Manager
    • 6+ years of experience in automotive
    • At least 3 years of experience in leading branding for an automotive company/FMCG/other blue-chip
      companies
    • Key relationships with external agencies and publishers
    • Briefing & judging creative development
    • Effective analysis, interpretation & recommendation based on key brand data (e.g. brand profitability, market information, consumer insights)
    • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
    • Ability to influence and partner with all external stakeholders (agencies, publishers)
    • Excellent project manager with a proven record and an understanding of efficient cost control
    • Preparing and delivering effective presentations
    • Service orientated individual, resilient with a positive outlook Professional, constructive and mature team leadership Balanced judgment and commercial mindset, leveraging fact and intuition in a timely manner
    • Demonstrated strong planning and organizational skills to deliver excellence in execution
    • Ability to make decisions and apply judgment
    • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
    • Creativity to identify alternative approaches and solutions
    • A confident manner and the ability to influence and persuade constructively
    • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills across various technical levels
