Our client, a manufacturing company is looking for potential candidates to be placed as Lean Engineering with details as follows:

JOB DETAILS:
Lead and manage LEAN measures for the site. Help conduct root cause analysis and structured problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency. Provide strategic direction and long-term business solutions to achieve site objectives due to Lean Transformation and Lean Culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lean Transformation
- Provide leadership / mentoring / training to all levels of the operation on the use and
practice of Lean methodology and tools. - Have responsibility for identifying, planning, and leading the execution Lean transformation events targeted towards improving the plant’s performance on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity as well as establishing a solid foundation around 5S in the workplace with process, metrics, and ownership at all levels.
- Tracking and implementation of CIP/Kaizen measures
- Further development and establishment of a lean management system to increase
productivity, quality, and delivery reliability. - Best practice, exchange of experience, targeted activities, and implementation of sustainable solutions in cooperation with line and specialist supervisors (visualizations, value stream analyses, layout improvements, etc.)
- Support pilot projects and coordinate all activities during the pilot implementation.
- Participation in the global Operation Excellence Team, support in the development of global standards, exchange of experience
- Provide leadership / mentoring / training to all levels of the operation on the use and
- Lean Culture
- Prepare and update the LEAN roadmap in close cooperation with local management
team - Define corrective action, in harmonization with process owner of each department, in the case of deviations from the site LEAN roadmap
- Facilitate, train, and coach GFID team members in the use of Lean system, and Problem-solving tools
- Educate, coach, and mentor others on Lean philosophy and application
- Assist with the development and implementation of the Lean Training Matrix
- Participation in the documentation of all activities and preparation of visualization and
reporting instruments for the plant management
- Prepare and update the LEAN roadmap in close cooperation with local management
- Compliance
- Ensure the implementation of the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Management
System in the company according to ISO 9001, ISO14001 & 45000 Standard.
- Ensure the implementation of the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Management
- Ad-hoc assignment & improvement project implementation when required by the direct manager
- Lean Transformation
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least a Degree in Engineering education (HTL or studies, ideally specializing in mechanical
engineering, foundry industry, manufacturing or automation technology). - Relevant further training in lean management and business administration
- Expert proficiency in the use and implementation of Lean tools such as Toyota Production System,
Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, TAKT, Kanbans/Pull Systems, Single Piece
Flow, Seven Wastes, 5S, Poka-Yoke, PDCA. - Experience with Lean Transformation, Lean Implementation, and Change Management
- Ability to motivate teams and lead change at all levels of the organization.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in lean management, ideally in the manufacturing
industry - Ability to work in a team, implementation strength, and independent, solution-oriented and proactive
way of working - Spoken and written English (Group language)
- Incident Reporting & Investigation
- Authorization:
- As a Leader of the LEAN program and activities in operations
- As a key user of LEAN implementation in operations
- To Ensure LEAN implementation can run optimally
- Responsible for all LEAN activities (Meeting, Planning, Performing, Reporting)
- As Incident Investigation Team
