DESIGN ENGINEER BODY – EV AUTOMOTIVE (2W) (JAKARTA)
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client, a manufacturing company is looking for potential candidates to be placed as Design Engineer Body with details as follows:
JOB SUMMARY
- Position: Design Engineer Body
- Division: Design Enginerr
- Location: Jakarta
- Industry: EV Automotive (2w)
- Salary: Open
MAIN OBJECTIVE:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and develop 2D & 3D technical drawings for body parts covering plastic injection, cover, seat, windshield
- Participate in various component system-level tests to ensure developed parts meet the required engineering standards
- Perform engineering tasks as instructed and communicate all engineering issues according to part responsibility
- Follow established engineering change control process during the development and production of produced parts, including participation at Change Approval Board as necessary
- Assist in the preparation of engineering Statement of Requirements
- Prepare and report engineering changes involved in
- Program Change Notice
- Participate in technical reviews with potential suppliers to support supplier selection
- Participate in Tooling Kick-Off to clarify engineering issues with support from more senior engineer
REQUIREMENTS:
- Min. bachelor’s degree in engineering major
- Knowledge of auto engineering design & release processes is desirable
- Min. 3 years of proven experience as a Design Engineer in automotive company or body part manufacturing company
- Understand about plastic injection parts, painting standard & testing, styling development, perceive quality, and stack up plastic part unit
- Good analytical skills
- Proficient skills in using CAD Software
- Self-driven
- Good communication skills, both in written and spoken English
