Our client, an industrial machinery manufacturing is looking for potential candidates to be placed as Technical Sales Consultant (Technical Expert – Turbomachinery) with details as follows:

    • Technical consulting for all mechanical operating issues of local turbomachinery fleet (internally and externally)
    • Sales support on regional turbomachinery fleet of any OEM, concerning technical discussion and possible solutions
    • Regular participation to customer visits in the region together with respective sales manager in order to recognize and develop business opportunities for all Omnicare products like maintenance, spare parts, repairs, revamps, service contracts and field service
    • Development of opportunities of third-party machine business identified by Sales Managers with existing and new customers in alignment with Omnicare and Sales Managers
    • Support of field service personnel in case of technical problems
    • Implementation of technical analyses including reporting and documentation
    • Proposal and feasibility of possible offerings towards customers
    • Alignment with Sales, Engineering, Field Service and Workshop concerning possible repair concept and solutions
    • To comply with the Company’s internal rules and guidelines (House of Compliance, etc.)
    • Document all customer interactions and new machines properly in CRM system
    • Compliance with all local legal obligations including IP compliance (OEM property rights)
    • Compliance with PrimeServ qualification rules
    • To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties (e.g. use of CRM) in an accurate, efficient and timely manner



    • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
    • Seasoned service experience for turbomachinery equipment with 10+ years of related experience, preferably in field service, engineering or workshop environment
    • Comparable broad specialized expertise and constant ongoing training in this area (additional formal qualification certificates, etc.)
    • Generalist understanding relating to market and economic aspects as well as basis understanding of feasibility checks
    • Sales experience in an international environment
    • Knowledge of local/general technical standards and directives as well as international standards like API
    • Advance knowledge of project management methods
    • Fluent in business English
    • Understand and gain knowledge about the Balance of Plant equipment, customer base and applicable sales processes
    • Basic Knowledge of thermodynamic and design details of turbomachinery and their components
    • Strong networker, engaging, well introduced to the local market
    • Sound interpersonal, presentation as well as intercultural skills and understanding
    • Very good coordination, organized and communication skills in a highly dynamic environment
    • Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards, high integrity
    • Experience in business development and maintenance business
    • Fast response to customer demands and solutions oriented mind-set
    • Know-how on mechanical, control and electrical auxiliary systems of turbo machines
